Bronte Stag Weekend 2016
The 2016 Bronte Stag Party was held on September 16th thru 18th. There was a scenic country drive on Friday and Saturday returning back to the Admiral's Inn hotel in Burlington. The activities for the weekend are outlined below. Sunday of course is the big show in Bronte Park on Sept. 18th, just a 15-minute drive from the hotel. Besides joining the largest group of Stags in North America you will have the opportunity to attend what is probably the largest British car show in North America with well over 1,000 British vehicles participating. Each year amazes me with the rare models of vehicles that appear, many of which I have not seen for years. You can optionally pre register for the car show and save $5 through the Toronto Triumph club rather than pay at the gate, go to the British Car Day webpage, this will speed up your entry into the park. What with road improvements on Burloak Drive and the pre-entry option, access to the park is speeded up considerably. ActivitiesFridayFriday will see us visiting Legendary Motorcar Company in Milton. Dinner Friday evening is at 7.0 pm at Tucker's Marketplace, a two minute drive or a 15 minute walk from the hotel.
SaturdaySaturday we tour to the Radial Railway Museum to ride on classic street cars. Saturday evening dinner is at the Admiral's Inn in the dining room, drinks at 6:00 pm , dinner at 7:00 pm. Look for my 'registration form' later this year for these events and meals.

LodgingsThe format will be much the same as past years, we have reservations at the Admiral Inn Burlington, which is very friendly with ample parking and is convenient to Bronte Park for the Sunday activity. There is a restaurant on site too for breakfast and lunch if desired. Located at the intersection of Billings Ct. and South Service Road (close to the intersection of the QEW and Walker's Line). The room rate is $82.95 plus tax per night including a hot breakfast of eggs, bacon etc. There is no charge for parking and the cars are right outside the hotel rooms.
